A holiday showcase for some amazing young talent.

The Window Wonderland is a product of the long-standing relationship between The Boys & Girls Club of Green Bay and branding firm Imaginasium.

Every November, the kids are invited to break out their creativity, help develop a theme and decorate Imaginasium's windows for the Green Bay Holiday Parade. The display has become a mainstay of the downtown holiday scene, and a highly anticipated project for both groups.

The Window Wonderland project grew out of Imaginasium's desire to honor their client and community relationships during the holidays in a deep and meaningful way, one with the power to touch lives.

Imaginasium had already been supporting the marketing efforts of the Club since 1996, but felt there was a way to delve deeper and forge real connections with the kids themselves. The firm envisioned a joint project built upon a shared passion for creativity.

The result was the first annual gathering in 2008 where Club kids came over and put their artistry to work on Imaginasium's Washington Street display windows. And though they may not have realized it, their high-profile window works were also helping to raise awareness of the Club and all the good it does for the communities in the greater Green Bay area.

Each year, the kids find inspiration in a unique creative challenge from Imaginasium, such as a new holiday theme or artist's medium. But, while the artwork changes annually, the focus is always on everyone working together and having fun.

Start of a tradition: a glimpse into the inaugural window project of 2008.
